WELCOME
Thank you for choosing to join our ministry as a part of a Short-Term Mission Trip. We are excited that your team will be on campus and grateful for your assistance. Our short-term volunteers make a huge difference in what we can accomplish during the year and assist us in providing quality facilities for the students and families we serve.

HOUSING
Your team will be housed in our Bunk House which sleeps 16 on one side and 12 on the other. The 920 Kitchen has been reserved for you as a place to fix meals and hang out.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT/S
The following project/s assigned to your group:
• Tree removal
• Stump grinding
• Ground prep for deck install
• Wood splitting
(Misc projects that previous work groups didn’t finish:)
• Mowing prep (removing debris, sticks, rocks)
• Gutter cleaning
• Staining picnic tables (weather permitting)
• Construction barrier removal
• Outside painting (weather permitting)

ESTIMATED COST OF PROJECT/S
If your group would like to fund the financial aspect of the project/s, an estimated cost is shown – if known.

• Some rakes
• Ladders
• Hoses
• Buckets
• Brushes
• Paint
• Weather sealer
• Stump grinder will be rented
• Chain saws
• Log splitter

TOOLS – TO BRING
• Rakes (garden and yard) I have two of each but could use more
• Closed toe shoes
• Dress in layers
• Gloves
• Chain saw if you have one that you want to use

CAMPUS NEEDS
Many workgroups ask if there are needs items they can bring on their visit. The answer is ‘yes’ and you can find a current list HERE

    Please be aware that coverage in our rural area is spotty. Those connecting via Verizon are more apt to have coverage than those using AT&T.

  • WIFI ACCESS
    During your stay at Cookson Hills you will have access to WiFi at the Main Office, Gym, and Dining Hall. Your passcode for access is: rxez1m
