Andrea had known of Cookson Hills for MANY years, so when she moved to the neighborhood across the street, she wanted to see what ways she could help the ministry! When the Directors at Cookson Hills met Andrea, they saw her as a perfect fit in our school. Though Andrea did not come to Cookson looking for a job, she found herself recognizing that this was exactly where God wanted her to be. So in June of 2021, Andrea joined our team of teachers at CHCS.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from John Brown University, an MS Library Media Specialist for grades K-12, and an MS of Gifted Education K-12 from Southern Arkansas University.
When not in the classroom, Andrea enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, thrifting/yard sales/flea markets, sewing, and spending time with her husband, David, four sons, daughter-in-law, & granddaughter!
