Anna Lenardson
Teacher

Anna and her husband, Robb, were teaching in Portugal when they began searching for available stateside teaching jobs. When they found the ministry of Cookson Hills, they both realized this was their dream job. Anna began serving at Cookson Hills as teacher in 2012. Today, she teaches high school history & Spanish. Anna loves digging into primary source documents with her students, helping them apply readings to current social and political issues. She loves to see the lightbulb go on as students make connections. Anna has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Education from Ashford University and is ESL Certified. Anna and her husband are recent empty nesters, but still the proud parents of Isaac, Ezri, and Shyanna. If Anna is not in her classroom, you can probably find her catching up on world news, reading, crocheting, watching British mysteries, or drinking coffee.
