Sarah Spezzo
Respite Houseparent
School Support
“I love sharing my life with our kids! I’m so grateful that I can give back in this way. I love being another trusted adult on campus that our students can rely on for love and support.”
Sarah began serving as a Respite Houseparent in 2017. This means when a kid’s primary houseparent goes on days off, she gets to have all the kids come stay with her and her family for about a week. Sarah’s favorite part of her job is that she gets to plan fun things to do with kids, watch them grow, and form lasting relationships. As a school support, Sarah assists the school by being a substitute teacher and recess monitor. When Sarah is not being “Super Aunt” to our kids, you can find her spending quality time with her husband, Tony, and son, A.J, hiking, swimming, walking, practicing yoga, reading, or kayaking.
