The Maze of Life

Like a maze we make our way through life
Focused on money instead of man and wife
In the beginning we find our way
By the end we’ve gone astray
It seems like this maze has no end
The strangers you passed, you once called friends
Maybe finding the way out isn’t the key
Though our minds aren’t open for us to see

Cookson Hills has taught me a lot about how I want to live my life. I’m grateful for the people who have helped me find my way back on the right track. I wrote The Maze of Life because we often find ourselves so caught up in the maze of life that we end up lost. Life is full of wrong turns and dead ends but like they say, “It isn’t about the destination. It’s about the journey.”
