Cookson Hills is seeking a Director of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The ideal candidate will be a highly-qualified, Christian individual who is willing to serve full-time in a leadership and supervisory capacity. The DCFS oversees the daily operations of the following components of the department – Enrollment, Residential, Therapeutic, Recreational, and Crisis Management. S/He will supervise in such a way as to create a culture of respect, growth, and responsibility within the ministry of Cookson Hills. In doing so, the DCFS will ensure each child in the care of Cookson Hills is receiving love, education, and healing in a trauma-informed environment.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience must meet one of the following criteria: Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of children’s service experience, Master’s degree + 2 years of experience, or a Doctorate degree + 1 year of experience. (Degree must be in family studies, behavioral sciences, social work, or related field.)
• Able to lead and supervise with empathy and decisiveness, even-tempered, excellent reasoning skills, efficient, trustworthy and dependable.
