God’s interaction with mankind illustrates just how deeply He values the family. Jesus came to earth as a baby, utterly dependent on rookie parents. He loved little children, listened, hugged, and affirmed them. He taught us to extend special care to widows, orphans, and exiles, those for whom the human bonds of family were fragile or broken.

Perhaps that explains the grace and care God has extended to the ministry of Cookson Hills for 60 years. What began as one couple’s compassionate response to children who were hurting has now changed the stories of generations!
